International Center for Journalists’ 2012 Scripps Howard immigration reporting program

The International Center for Journalists(ICFJ) is currently seeking applicants for the 2012 Scripps Howard immigration reporting program. The program is scheduled to take place Sunday July 15, 2012 through Sunday July 22, 2012 in Washington, D.C.

The application deadline is Monday May 28, 2012.

The Scripps immigration reporting program brings together journalists from the U.S. Spanish and English-language media for a week-long training on how to cover immigration issues using multimedia tools.

Asian American Journalists Association – J Camp

Deadline:         March 16, 2012

Young people have the opportunity to develop their written, speaking, communication and leadership skills, while learning about diversity through a program that allows them to meet with top journalists in the country. AAJA’s J Camp is a national multicultural journalism program for high school students, held each before AAJA’s national conventions. J Camp 2012 will be held in New Orleans from June 19-24, 2012.
