A Day in Pictures

By Melissa Ann Henry

Coffee shops stand on every downtown Seattle corner waiting for caffeine bugs to fly by.  Food stands await hungry by passers on their way to work, play or pleasure.  It is another day in Seattle, when natives and tourists explore the famous city, only to ignore what gives the city it's uniqueness: people.  The sidewalks offer the eye an array of color as people crowd the streets like ants in the sun.

As all American cities, Seattle has problems, but the location near the Pacific Ocean gives it a feeling of enlightenment. The ocean park becomes a playground for children on lazy days, and a time of silence for the over worked.  Cities may have problems, but entertainment is the key to the worker bees as they preview shows at the theater.  Seattle's unique atmosphere is quite an experience for residents and visitors.
